Many thanks. This all makes a lot of sense, I know what I will be doing tomorrow! I am not sure it is going to make the overdrive fall into place but this certainly needs to be ironed out first anyway. This should help with some of the many other noises and vibration I have always taken for granted with this truck. Or to hope against hope, perhaps it will this growl that I have been hunting since I started this re-power project.
