Finally had a few minutes to make calls.
Following are average WEEKLY rates!!!
Business credit checks may raise or lower the rates.
NYC to Fairfield, Iowa..1059 miles one way.
........................2120 miles roundtrip
Penske:

..........10 cents per mile
Trailer, enclosed 53'...............$115.00
...........4 cents per mile
No multi car trailer rentals from Penske.
Ryder:

Tractor, tandems, sleeper...........$654.75
...........12 cents per mile
Trailer,
(45' Flatbed, or 53' enclosed)......$168.00
............3 cents per mile
$65 a day insurance unless a business insurance will cover it.
Both companies require a business insurance policy with $1 millon combined single limit naming the rental company as a third party lost pay, CDL driver, Business Credit Check, Certificate of Insurance.
Ryder does have a $65 a day insurance plan.
I have not yet found a multi car trailer rental.
If these trailers are used, 3 trucks can fit and a ramp system may be needed to load and unload the trucks if a loading dock is not readily available on both ends of the trip.
