My father was having some heart problems, and last week tuesday, they told him and us, that there is nothing they can do. to say the least i am crushed by this news, he may live a month, or may out live us all, but they can not repair, the 2, 5 bypasses, he had several years before. he is faced with his mortality, and it breaks my heart and fills my eyes with tears to just think, what life with out him is going to be like. It is just hard to see my little sophia, in his arms, smiling, and the other day, he choked up, as we left, because he just loves his grand kids.
Cars are cars, my father is something i can never replace.
Ever since i was a little kid, I remember sitting at the hospital at age 10-11, staring up at dad, full of tubes, and respirators, and seeing all my brothers and sisters fear, and them crying and me not really understanding what was going on. it has been my only fear, that these days were to come. so i am giving him anything i can, to provide the best for him as he has given so much to the 10 of us children.
Many times this past week and the other day, i broke down with the worst thoughts ......so i have decide to unload a few dodge treasures, and can only ask, that you bid to win, as all money raised etc will be given to him. So money orders are to be made out to him. i have not decided what to sell, as the shop is frozen shut, but please be not afraid to ask etc, (wc6, wc1, ford gp,) and so on.
I would like to thank ron leatherman again, for the hard work and help he gave me on the Halftrack project, the nights before Nov 11 2006 Veterans Parade.(3:45am) My family is so thankful for the memories you gave them with my father...as am I. i I guess there is no time limit, but he's getting things squared away for mom, and all..so in the next weeks keep an eye out. as i'll be posting on the other g503 site also. thanks to all. as being the last of 10 children, we've had some great years and hope that more are to come, My fathers passions are his family, His garden(all 16,000 plants)and HIS poker, so i'm hoping to sell off a considerable amount to provide him with what ever he wants to do.. thanks again jeff chester-68427vette
