Ernie has already pointed out there were military WC3x and WC4x types which effectively had civilian cabs with wind-out screens. If someone transplanted one of those cabs to your WC military that's how it would look.
Also some of the larger trucks had fuel tanks underneath and fuel fillers would not have been punched through.
The only 100% indicator I've ever seen for military versus civilian is that I've never seen an army truck without a dash plate and I've never seen an army truck with a civilian door jamb tag - so if you have no extra hole(s) drilled for a dat plate on your passengers door hinge closure area....
