Hi Derek,
I ran into that as well with my 318. I ended up using an electric pusher fan mounted to the front of the radiator. I am drawing a blank on what I used, Something "Extreme 180" or close to that, but it is the same fan Will Watson used in his M-37. It is mounted in a rectangular enclosure sized almost perfectly to fit the space. I did need to move the grille out using the stock 251 extensions. It has worked very well.
