he's in too deep, on that one,, a restored driver you can buy for 12-16,000 done, , looks like he farmed it all out,, had the seat redone,, and has sanded primer all over it???

How do all you guys cost add up??
$1000 motor- if you need bored out etc
500 trans seals
500 axles seals
800 tires flaps
600 sand for / blasting
600 wiring
600 seats
500 glass
1000 paint/prep
500 brakes
600 lines fuel, brake etc
500 winch stuff
1000 wood kit/ strips
300 gauges parts

$9000 total +/- 4000= $13,000

$13,000 + the cost of truck.(5-10,000)

$18-23,000 total

WOW, i guess it does add up,(my cost are lower, but always project HIGH!!!

This is why we are not in it for the money, if you farmed it out, almost double, i would think. powder coating $$$$ use por415.
Depressing... but over a year thats not bad, over a 5 year resto, very managable.
the thing is to buy a good starter truck, with good parts.... and dont get in over your head...
are my cost, in range??
jc
