Back in the early to mid 80's there was an aluminum replacement frame for the Dodge trucks with our cab. It was available through a place I believe was called "Rick's". I had one issue of their catalog from about 1985. The aluminum frame was pictured there, looked good, but I never saw one in person. The Rick's catalog reminded me of a J.C. Whitney catalog. They had a lot of other aluminum frames for other vehicles too. I always wondered if they were cast.
