When I did my resto on my WC-12, I was into it for 14-15K, and I did all the work myself.
I got lazy on a recent project and had a mechanic work on it.
1300 later for a half A**ed brake job, mickey moused tune up, etc
I am sorry I did that.
I ended up finisheing the brake job myself for anoterh 100 bucks total!
So, yes, it CAN add up if he farmed out all of the work.
But like one other poster noted, just because you put that kind of cash into a vehicle doesnt mean the world wil jump on the price you set trying to get your money back.
