If you are trying to "semi-restore" an early fifties or forties
truck that came wired for 6volts and you want to change over to
12 volt system, does anyone out there make a kit? Does anyone
rebuild 6 volt generators or sell kits to convert them to 12 volt
alternators. I know that the "one wire" GM alternator is the most
popular sub here, but does anybody sell converted, old looking
stuff...that simply bolts in?
