Per past discussions, I have heard using hickey pucks. I used some material called neoprene. It was easily cut on my radial saw (alot of "shavings") and then I drilled through the desired hole diameter. I can get the 2-1/2" o.d. for you at $34.00 per foot. Let me know if you need some. By the way, don't be ina hurry when you mount the cab. Trial and error, it took me about 5 hours for my "54 C1PW.
