Somebody tell me if I am on the right track. I have 2- 1/2 ton wc. One is a 41 wc4(closed cab) the other is a wc21 (open cab). The closed cab is the better of the 2 and I am placing most of my time on it. The closed cab has a broken wheel stud on the frt axle and the open cab has free wheeling hubs on it. I was leaning toward swapping the axles rather then fixing the stud and swapping out the hubs (the free wheeling hubs new run $300) . It looks pretty simple to drop the steering arm, ubolts, frt drive line & brake lines (both units need a brake job so I will need to go through the brakes one way or another). I have air tools and a torch so equipment is not a problem. Any opinions on this would be appreciated.
