Never have seen a rear single tired W-500. Mainly because rear axle housing is higher than allowable limits on single 8:25 x 20. Just my guess. The old GMC 2 1/2 tons that had single 11.00 x 20 was only a 13,000 Lb. rating per axle. The W-500 that I have, has duals on rear, but singles are not out of the question. Mine is a 1967 Navy, slant six with 4-speed, with 46,000 miles. Cab needs work, frame is very good. It needs a good home, I don't have time now to restore. $1800.00 if interested. Virgil
