I put a 440 with a short 727 auto in my M37. I used the motor mount crossmember from a 78-88 vintage dodge 4X4 truck. The frame spacing is the same. Icut out the middle of the crossmember for fit, and bolted the end pieces to the frame. all stock dodge 4X4 motor mounts and brackets can be used. This will work for the 318-360 motors too.
