Now that we finally have the serial numbers.

I will check with the respective U.S. Agencies and Manufacturer (Dodge) to see if the trucks can be issued a "Manufacturers Certificate of Compliance" and/or a DOT/EPA "Letter of Waiver" and be imported (by which I mean if they will be able to clear U.S. Customs) or whether you will have to use the services of an ICI.

An ICI can legally take receipt of a vehicle that hasn't cleared customs for the purpose of modifying it to meet standards. Which BTW you don't want to do as ICI charges are typically many thousands of dollars. Also U.S. Customs will require you to put up a bond equal to 150% of the price you paid for the vehicle before releasing it to the ICI.

Although these vehicles were manufactured in the U.S., since they were destined for the export market, Dodge may not have originally certified them as meeting U.S. standands. If not then the only route will be to ask the Guv'ment for a waiver. (which in my estimation, on getting approval from the EPA, the odds are slim to none)
