talked with a local big truck shop...
They can not spin balance tires, but can do something else..
They use a product call Equal... As he explained to me, they balance the big rig truck tires
with this product in lieu of wheel weights...It is a sand type mixture that they put into the tire..
Supposedly, it works great, and it eliminates the problems that big truckers have of throwing wheel weights,
and also when they rip off a chunk of rubber during hard use.. This stuff can compensate for all this as it
keeps the balance all the time..
I had read about this stuff years ago in Military Vehicles Mag, and a MV club used it on all
of the club members tires..
Any one with experience with this stuff, or anyone you know ever use it?
any feed back would be appreciated...
