No 90 weight resides in the area of the knuckle. The felt seals are just dust seals.

If there is 90 present, you have bad seals on the axle shafts. Replace dem puppies and the oilite bushings the axles ride on. VPW has bushings quite reasonable. I think $15 each. You'll need 4.
2 for the axles, and 2 for the stub shafts that drive the wheels. Their seals are NOS leather which ain't worth a crap. Go to your local bearing house and have them pull seals that are rubber.

The U joints in the knuckle are just packed with wheel bearing grease. Get a nice big pal of the stuff.

I just used silicone sealer to seal the felt retainers to the knuckle. Put some light oil the felt once you get it assembled so the felt won't snag on the radiused surface of the axle.
