I have a similar engine, a Cummins 6A3.4T. I suspect this is the same engine maybe made by Onan, who was bought by Cummins. Onan made generator and stationary power units. They apparently designed the initial engines in this series. My A version came out of a UPS van and has a chevy adapter for the transmission bellhousing. I was able to get all engine manuals for my A series engine from Cummins and they still have replacement parts for these engines. The data plate on the engine will show mfg. date. They may have been used in bread trucks and delivery vans of that size.
