Hello

One of the most important lessons that I learned when trying to solve a front end shimmy problem was to find a shop that had the capability to balance the tires on the truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not manner shops have the capacity to do this. Here in Vancouver British Columbia a city of 1 million plus i only know of 2 shops that have the capability to do this. Certainly there may be more bur I don't know of them. If you think about the amount of material weight and parts spinning arounnd the azle, its no wonder that it doesn't shimmy all the time. Balancing the tires on the vehicle will balance the tires, tubes, liners, rims and hubs. Putting a stabilizer on your front end is a stop gap measure and will eventually give up the ghost as the shimmying action will eventually wear the seals in the piston. Anyways thats been my experience hope it helps.
