Well, it would have been better if it was Dodge, but still cool.
I am working in a building that most recently was a bookstore. In the 50s (and back into the 30s) the building housed a Ford dealership. The owner of the building casually mentioned that there were a bunch of parts in the attic. I climbed up with a light and the entire attic was all parts bins. Most of them were mostly empty but I still filled 6 boxes up with all sorts of bearings, gears, brake parts, seals, spring shackles etc, etc. There were half a dozen car doors, some pristene, some with colision damage, an nos 20" Budd wheel and lock ring, window glass, old flat windshields, the list goes on and on. I am going to sell it off for the owner, and get some percent of the sale, we havent discussed that yet.
I am going to put the more identifiable parts on ebay. I will make a photobucket album og this stuff and solicit your opinions as to what the doors etc are from.
I dont know how many times I said to myself, "why couldnt this have been a Dodge truck dealer!"
Tim
