To cut Laminated glass, you use a glass cutter to both sides, and then bend it gently and cut the plastic inner layer with a knife. Curves have to be cut in straight line steps, until it gets close. Then, use a belt sander to dull the edges. Don't get it too hot, or it will heat crack. We've done the windshield, and a rear window. I wouldn't try a side window, only the ones where the edge won't show. The caulk will hide it.
Most auto glass anymore is tempered, one layer. So it might not be too easy to find stock anymore.
