My Dad bought this truck on December 23, 1965. This was just five days before I was born. I literally grew up in this truck. I have the original bill of sale and all of the other paperwork for the entire existance of the truck. I have so many memories of us going fishing in this truck, pulling his 25' O'Day sailboat with it, going skeet and trap competition shooting and so many other memories. I even remember us coming down the mountain in North Carolina pulling a camper and it coming off of the ball. I thought that my Dad ws playing around when he told us to get in the floor of the truck while he was "throwing" the truck all over the place. When it was all over, the camper was destroyed and my Mom nearly had a heart attack because she was in the car behind us watching the truck go up on two wheels and almost go over the edge of the mountain. Thank God we were okay. The truck has the 318 Poly and is all original. The engine has never been apart and the odometer stopped at 74,000 miles some time back. I'm sorry about the long post but I'm very passionate about this truck. With my Father passing away almost three years ago, it keeps him very fresh in my memory. Like I said before, I miss him very much.
