I can't top the excellent advice you've already received. Just a note to tip you in case you didn't know: there are 'temmporary agencies' that offer short term employment opportunities to get you over the hump. They're dying for someone who has such an excellent long term track record and sometimes it turns into a fine career position. You'll be okay, and yes, keep the truck!
