This was mine when I bought it. Drivers door was a replacement but the passenger door was the same shade of green as the rest of the truck and had "U.S. ARMY",a series of #'s, "For Official Use Only" and a T.B. ord. # and "Ft S.H." on the door. The tailgate had "U.S. ARMY" and the same series of #'s as the passenger door. I know where there is another truck identical to mine and only 321 numbers difference in the vin/serial #. Another came out of Alpine Texas marked the same way, Lui Collie in Dallas has it now restoring it in the Military scheme and I saw one for sale out in AZ that look very similar. All this leads me to believe that at least a few PW's were owned by the ARMY at some point.
