Don't feel bad I got the same problem but my seat doesn't stink, there are mouse holes in the bottom though. When I re'cover mine I figure on making sure there are no holes in the bottom of the seat and motr inportantly,there is no way for any mouse to enter my cab, period!! I hate those pesky creatures, they'll ruin anything if you let them. I use mothballs and fabric softeners in my camper and so far they worked. Good luck.
