Well, probably the P&Z in your area would have a fit, but it would work. the main problem with a long one and one door for storage is that people are lazy and pretty soon the door ends up blocked. However one modified can be made into something usable. Our gun club recently bought two 20 ft units and had the company install a roll up door in the side of each container which allows easy access to the interior. Works great for storage of steel targets , Depending on the comapny you can get them with doors and windows added. There is the lack of insulation problem and the heat can be dealt with by using turbo fans in the roof. Using a single container to work on a vehicle mignt not work, although a friend in Kali had a storage that was all containers that he restored a WWII jeep in one. A Dodge would be hard due to the width. A lot of freight comes by rail in containers, and there are inland container ports. there is one in Nampa. ID and containers are available. One thing with the 20's they can be moved by a roll back wrecker, so if you have a buddy that is in the towing business you are in luck. If you get a long one with a single door it would work well for parts storage with shelves for smaller parts. Chris in Jerome, you need one of these.
