nos ujoints

how do you prep nos ujoints for use? i think they are packed in cosmolene or grease. do you just install and press new greas in or do you have to clean em. who has the current parts numbers for wc 3/4 intermediate and rear ujoints. i know the pif has them listed but am unsure if they are correct because there are always updates floating around?
