Marty, I hear what you're saying and I've read all the threads on this subject here about grade 5 and grade 8, stretch verses brittleness, I still feel that if any of the grade 8 bolts in my front bumper ever broke off or failed in any way before they pulled thru the steel plates I'd be very surprised.
