My 1967 Dodge Shop manual show the following for Spring U Bolts;

1/2-20 62-70 ft lbs
3/4-16 175-225 ft lbs
9/16-18 120-130 ft lbs
5/8-18 175-200 ft lbs

I trust your using NEW U Bolts and Deep Nuts. You should never re-use U Bolts and Deep Nuts.

Below is a link to the Info I have on Dayton Spring U Bolts. You will note, torque values are different that those given in the Dodge Shop Manual. Dayton requires Lubricated Bolts prior to torquing. The Dayton pages explain this in detail. I use NEW Dayton U Bolts and Deep Nuts on all my trucks, torqued to Dayton Specs.
