I think what he does is hijacks the accounts of people that have good feedback but have been idle a while (so aren't watching) and then posts a bunch of stuff that he copied off of other people's listings over the years. The styles of the listing descriptions are quite different. In this latest identity, the account he hijacked was somebody who had been selling antiquey nick-nacks and yard-sale stuff (based on the feedbacks), but hadn't listed anything since November.

What I wonder is how he hijacks people's accounts, and how ebay lets him get away with it. He's obviously ripping off ebay for the listing fees since the listing fees for the $70,000 worth of stuff he listed today can't be cheap. The other thing about him is he lists everything as 1-day listings.

I actually got a response from the guy when I first enquired about something he was selling. I said, "I don't understand how you're doing business, but how much do you really want for this thing?" His response was "$600. Are you interested?" I told him I wanted to see pictures of the actual unit he was selling (he'd listed several with the same pictures), and I wanted to know why he'd pulled most of his listings. He never replied.
