Hi Everyone,
With the recent death of Gerald Ford, everyone has their flags at half mast. When the American flag is flown with other flags, ie. another state or country, the American flag must be higher than the rest. Here is the question, when flying the American flag at half mast, what would be done with a Canadian flag flying next to it? One can not presume that Canada (for example) is also in mourning for the person who is being honored, therefore they may not want their flag flown at half mast. Would the Canadian flag simply not be flown?
Thanks,
Tim
