The 230 came with cast iron seats. If you do hard pulling or mountain driving, I would install harden seats for added insurance. Otherwise you can drive it on unlead regular for probably 40-50,000 miles before the valves will need attention. So if you not doing a rebuild presently, wait till you need to and do it then. I've been driving mine for 10 years with no additives on unleaded.
