Truck tend to be cheaper here than other parts of the world I have several friends out of state that have bought here. There are several volume dealers within 100 miles of DFW with 200 are more Dodge trucks on lots. Used to be 1 out of 6 trucks were sold in Texas. I do not know the ratio now most trucks suffer from high mileage as the commutes for a lot of suburban people run 40 miles are better each way. Ford is most popular why I dont know they are higher here. Dodges are popular but dont command the prices unless they are 90-92 3/4 T 4wd then they bring huge prices. I live in Ft. Worth their is a Richie Bros auction every other month huge amounts of trucks and with all the Gas drilling going on lots changing hand. As far as Katrina goes I doubt many diesels from N.O. made it here they are not that popular there. Call me if you need some help 817 937-6580. Trailers can be bought here cheaper. You could haul back a load of ranch hand bumpers and clean up.
