I have an '06 Dodge CTD, 2500 and my son has an '04 Dodge CTD, 3500. The only difference that I can see in the two trucks is that the 3500 has additional spring leaves and cab clearance lights came as std. equipt. The frame and the running gear seem to be identical. The 3500 cost about $1000 more for the extra rating. JH
