I would suggest getting one between 1961 and 1971 if you like the flatfender type.
These trucks have the larger engine (251),have a 12 volt electrical system, and a synchro transmission (for 3rd and 4th). Domestic production ended in 1968 but they were made three more years for export and some of those are still available.
