Not kidding at all. The M65 field jacket with the liner is a rather nice coat to wear in the winter here. Now I will admit I dont think its as warm as an artic wear Carhart work cart it is very warm. It also seems to do well when its not as cold out as well. You dont seem to get hot in it on the not so cold days yet it is warm on the cold days. Velcro straps around your wrists and a nice collar around your neck area helps keep you warm. Add to it the "improved wet weather" rain coat. It appears to be something like gortex. A nylon type outer material that keeps rain out while letting the moisture inside out so you dont get soaked from the inside out like you do with the plastic farm store rain coats. Has zippers for upper and lower and under your arms to adjust for ventilation. Again velcro strips around your arms and feet area on the pants.

I wore it for 2 nights in rain and was as dry as can be.

The gloves are nice. You can take the inserts in or out depending on cold. They have large cuffs and work well with the field jacket to create a complete coat system.
