Apparently the King winch is a model made by Koenig. They used them on Land Rovers. It looks like the company is no longer in operation. It seems like the W500 would take a pretty big winch, at least 16 or 20000 pound capacity. Certainly bigger than one they would put on a Land Rover. JH
