I guess my soles were wet. It was in the 41 at Hollister that was V8 and Dana Running gear. I went to get out, and both feet sliped out from under me. My butt bounced off the running board. For my money, if it ain't got sand, it ain't non-slip. At least wet. And dry, painted steel is fine. But I bet those coatings last a looooong time.
