Rhino and Line-X will heavily skuff any paint you have on the surface to be coated. This is for good adhesion. The Line-X dealer told me to just do the Epoxy prime, anything else is waste as its skuffed so deep.
Yes, you can save a lot of money if you take the items loose off the truck to be shot. This way they dont have to mask the truck for over spray. Also if your willing to leave them and let them be shot when they are doing another job, more money saved as they dont have to set up just for your little job. At least that is my best deal in the frozen north.
