The answer may seem a bit cryptic. You will not find anything called a "PIF".
There is a link at the top of the Forum main page that has a link called "Parts Interchange File". ("PIF")
There, Vaughn has assembled a huge amount of info that will help you find parts from commercial suppliers that will interchange
It is not a PDF, and uses html, so you will need to set your computer screen to the smallest possible text size. This is done by clicking "View" at the top of your browser window, then finding the options for text size on the tab that drops down.
Click "smallest" so that you can seethe whole page at a glance. Good luck!
