Highlights: Having to turn around where the Mexican Army blocked access into Zapatista-held territory in Chiapas. Rebuilding transfer case on the side of the road in Tabasco state. Passing a guy standing on the roadside in Yucatan and seeing him mouth the words "Power Wagon" in amazement.
MPG? Doesn't really matter when you've got 8 people in the bus to split the bill. Speed? Doesn't really matter much either when you are south of the border. Kinda like Jimmy Buffett said, changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes. Or were we looking for that lost shaker of salt?
