kagei - im in the process of finishing it up. ive had it 10 years and have taken it from basket case - but complete - to almost ready to roll. all systems are completely gone through now and im taking the time making it how i want it. after driving my converted m37 - ive added power steering, pertronix, one wire alternator, discs on all corners, 1968 ffpw brake pedal assembly with a dual master under the floor, a repro harness and lockout hubs. i have an m37 third member in the rear with a 489 and a wc third member in the front with 489s. i've done a modification to use the horn button for the horn and im adding a period tach to the steering column. i also kept the yellow bulb marchal lights with parking circuit and ive incorporated turn signals into pods that look like the blackuout lights. once im satisfied with the way it drives, its a final scuff and paint of all outside surfaces. im planning on adding heatercraft heater under the drivers side dash attached to the passenger map board. that way i can slide it in the fall (with quick disconnects on the hose) and then remove it in the spring. im still trying to come up with a way to do it without drilling the firewall. im working on hose routing. ill post pics soon and post pics of the m37 i did a while back.

since it was a european return that rolled through a mercedes depot, all history was not available which was ideal for me. not being a verifiable piece of history
