We are using an engine similar to yours (but from a truck) and was wondering if your fan lines up alright with the radiator. Since we also had a clearance problem between the radiator and the fan, we had the radiator flipped around, the inlet and outlet (centered as well) relocated and the filler moved to line up with the cowl (thanks to Paul in NY). Just worried the fan will be too high. People who use the standard timing gear cover state the fan is too low (1").
