That's what I figured. If I recall correctly, the battery is under the driver's seat, is that right? I'm gonna make a list of stuff to check out this Saturday when we go up. I just found out from the wife that the original bed "fell off" as she put it. her ex-husband made a wood bed for it, and that is now rotted away. She also corrected me on the "aim it at a tree" theory. Apparently, I confused a few stories together. It has nearly no brakes, but they were able to stop it by downshifting. She also told me that the last time she knew it to run was in '94 or '95, much more recently than I had thought. The last time I was in the truck looking around, I was attacked by a recluse spider about 4" across, so I'm kinda glad winter's here before I go digging around the thing. Looking at the pic Terry posted above, I CAN tell ya that the one he pictured is as far as I can tell Identical from the cab forward.
