i've got a gm 12si(66amp) , 3 wire alternator on my engine in my wc63. i want to run an electric tach.since there is no ignition system(diesel)how do i hook it up to my alternator? the alternator does not have a post marked "tach" but i'm told you can run one off your alternator.i tried a google search but didn't come up with much. any ideas?
