wouldn't the frame be too wide? the only willys / jeepster that i have seen modified that looked 'right' was sold a few years back by the 'wagonmaster' it was yellow and tons of $ were spent on it. high dollar parts and thinking went into it. i think the frame was swapped out, but the axles / tires tucked under nicely. you could do gm axles and get modern rims that take baby moons or the stock jeepster hubcaps. to me a great upgrade looks bone stock from 20 feet and blows you away when you see it up close.
