For those of you who would like to do some early 4x4/camping prior to Hollister, the Molina Ghost Run is sponsored each year in March at Clear Creek, located south of Hollister and Northwest of Coalinga CA. Clear creek has tons of good challenging trails and lots of roads for driving upto elevations of 6,000 feet. There are old mines (New Idra) that you can visit. Areas does have asbestos and old mines through out, but is not a problem if you use a surgical mask - if you're concerned. I've deer hunted in the area since I was a kid and driven my PW in the area and it's a great place to 4x4 and camp. If interested, contact:
