Are your gin poles resting on top of a headache rack above your truck cab when u go to raise them??? I am thinking still you have the blocks strung up incorrectly, all gin pole truck have the poles near the end of the bed. Once again, the wire rope should leave your winch(assuming its right behind the cab in the bed) them go down the truck bed to a tail block at the very back of the bed in the center of the bed, it should them leave the tail block and go to the wishbone where a block is hanging from the ginpoles, then the wire rope should come back down and be attached to the rear bumper so to be secure and not give when u let out the clutch to force them up off of the headache rack they are resting on, that is all I can think of until we see your pictures, it might be your poles are to short or too low on the headache rack and wont breakover to come up, thats all i can think of, make sure u check the tail blocks for correctness of wire rope dia and rating and make sure no sheeve is stuck and not rolling and causing a binding, try freewheeling them by hand and regreasing them, i cant figure out why your poles are not coming up and are killing the motor in the truck. wHat happens if u rev the truck up a lil to help?? Good luck, dont give up!!
