I recently bought a 57 Dodge 700 with only about 400 miles on a rebuilt 354 Hemi and a 5 speed. I now have the chance to buy a rust free 57 1/2 ton with a rebuilt flat 6 and a 4 speed. I know that no 1/2 tons came with a Hemi but how easy would it be to install this 354 in this little truck? Strait drop in or is quite a bit of cutting and welding involved? Bell housing interchangable? 700 rad fit in the 100? I will let you know if I purchase this truck. Thanks for the help?
