the money has just been ammassed over the last 30 years as the club has grown.
I don't believe that anybody is speending the money or doing anything inappropriate with it. The good ole boys that control it just won,t let the members have any say in what to do with it to help improve the club.
Just as an example.
the convention centers being used for the next 2 conventions (2007 Little rock Ark, and 2008 in Portland Or) are being giving to the club free of charge. Yet the MVPA board will not consider lowering prices for the venders and members that wish to attend.
Just as David said above, power and money.
