I don't have any chlordane, but I still have some DDT and some lead arsenate. Some people collect antique furniture. I collect antique insecticides. My neighbor was an old timer who used to work in orchards when he was a teenager. He had one nice Spokane Beauty tree in his yard in Everett and he took care of it really well up until he died. It had some of the biggest best-tasting apples I've ever had. After he died I tried to keep it going for his wife, but never could keep the coddling moths and scab off of it. I'm pretty sure the lead arsenate was his secret weapon. I asked her if I could have the half-empty can for my museum. It says on the label that it "kills worms", and I have no doubt whatsoever that it absolutely does.
